If you are looking for dissertations or theses written by GMercyU EdD students, go to the Keiss Library website, under the drop-down menu Archives and Special Collections, click on Ed.D. Dissertations. Search using the Advanced Search box, click on the result and use the Expand button to read the full text.
Accessing GMercyU Ed.D Dissertations Quick Resource Guide (QRG)
Another way to search for dissertations or theses written by GMercyU EdD students, is to go to the Keiss Library website under the drop-down menu Library Catalogs, select KeissCat. In KeissCat, click on Advanced Search options. Enter the title, author, or subject you are looking for. Under the search boxes in the Type field, select Theses and Dissertations and click Search. In your list of search results, dissertations have a call number that begins with DIS. You will see a URL link to the electronic version of each dissertation so that you can view it online. Theses have a call number that begins with THE. The theses are shelved chronologically on the lower level.

You can also search for dissertations in the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global database. ProQuest Dissertations & Theses is the “database of record for graduate research.” It indexes over three million dissertations and theses and provides full-text PDF links to more than one million of these documents. On the Keiss Library website, under the drop-down menu E-Resources, click on A –Z Databases. Go to the letter P and select ProQuest Dissertations and Theses and then you can search the database.
