If you are unable to access the full text of an article in the CINAHL Complete database you may be able to retrieve the entire article from another library database.

You can search all of our databases at one time by using the Electronic Journals link (under the pull-down menu Resources) on the Library's homepage.

Once you have accessed Electronic Journals, you will see a search box on the home page.  Please type in the title of the journal in the search box (not the title of the article). Click search and a screen will appear that will list the title of the journal and all the databases that have that journal.

Click on the link to one of the other databases and then find your article using its year of publication and volume/issue number.

If none of our databases have the full text of an article, you can request the complete article through our Interlibrary Loan service.  Click on the Interlibrary Loan link (under the pull-down menu Research Help) on the Library's homepage and fill out the online request form.  We can usually retrieve an article in a few days.   We will send the article to your GMercyU email address free of charge.

Please ask the librarians at the Reference Desk or give us a call at (215) 646-7300 ext 21484 if you have any questions.
