The first place to look for a DOI number for your article is on the citation page for that article in the database.  When you are in the database, click on the title of the article to get to the citation page.  If the article has a DOI number, it will be listed on this page (you may need to scroll down).  However, not every article has a DOI number. Organizations that meet the contractual obligations of the DOI system and are willing to pay to become a member of the system can assign DOIs.  If your journal's publisher is not a member it cannot assign a DOI number.  You can also try going to the website crossref.org to see whether your articles has been assigned a DOI number.
